About
CleanEpic Advising arose from Jay Munster’s work as an investment banker, a portfolio manager at a hedge fund, as the head of global hydrogen product strategy at Shell, as an H2 consultant, and then as the commercial analysis lead on H2Hubs, 45V, and DOE commercial liftoff reports in the DOE. CleanEpic has worked on strategy projects with most major strategy consultancies, done due diligence and advising for investment firms, and strategic or supply chain advising for startups and nonprofits
Jay Munster is the principal and founder of CleanEpic. He spent the past five years running the Global Hydrogen Product Strategy team at Shell and then the commercial analysis of H2 in the DOE. aHe combines a background in investment management, startup founding and leadership, and an environmental sciences and engineering PhD to provide insights in clean energy and Hydrogen. He has a BS, MS, and PhD from Harvard and extensive experience in the energy industry.
